December In Gh (December In Ghana) has been launched as a new tourism product by the Ghana Tourism Authority to drive people to Ghana which is increasingly becoming the destination for Christmas and New Year celebrations. In 2018 some Holywood stars and their friends and families numbering about one hundred and fifty spent their yuletide in Ghana for a festival dubbed the Full Circle Festival (#fullcirclefestival ) led by Boris Kodjoe. In 2019/2020, some 500 stars including their friends and families will be celebrating the Christmas and New year in Ghana. The campaign is to create an experience that will focus on showcasing increasingly as global destination for Christmas and New Year celebration with events highlighting Ghana’s unique role as an epicentre for culture and entertainment.

The star Kevoy Burton is a successful doctor in Jamaica working alongside Mawuli Gavor of Ghana, Christopher MacFarland of Jamaica (his dad), Alison Hinds of Barbados (his mom) and Shontelle Layne of Barbados (his sister). This drama sees the family torn apart between the Caribbean and Africa and the discoveries that ensue.
‘Joseph’ is a film that explores the life of a Jamaican doctor who has Ghanaian ancestors. Throughout his life he’s only considered himself as a Jamaican, but through a series of life twists and turns, he makes the life-changing decision to travel to Ghana and embark on a journey of self-discovery.

The National Theatre of Ghana presents “KIDDAFEST 2019” a three (3) day international arts festival for children by children.
The theme for this year’s Kiddafest is “BACK TO OUR ROOTS”. This year’s festival will give children the opportunity to delve into Ghanaian Cultures, research and develop an artistic performance or work that bonds us and promotes the Ghanaian personality. In honor of this year’s theme, there will be guest appearances such as Martha Ankoma, Tic, Eddie Nartey who used the platform as a step in their career to mentor the children during this festival.
There will be performances in Dance, Drama, Music, Brass Band display, Music, Poetry, Visual Arts, Painting and Fashion show.
KIDDAFEST 2019 is slated for Thursday, 12th – Saturday, 14th December, 2019 and from 10am – 5pm each day. Rate is GHC 5.00 per student.

December 14 Perfect Picture 2 (Public Premiere)
Sparrow Productions (currently Sparrow Pictures) is all set to bring the fun-filled sequel of the award-winning film titled ‘The Perfect Picture’ with the renewed title of ‘The Perfect Picture 10 Years Later’. The film was first released ten years ago and it is still considered as one of the best rom-coms that the Ghanaian film industry has produced till date.
‘The Perfect Picture’ is about three amazing women who are pushing their thirties by accepting challenges, taking risks and breaking age stereotypes perfectly. However, the latest sequel is all about how they are doing absolutely marvelous in their forties as well. The lead actresses are Jackie Appiah, Lydia Forson, and Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku.
‘The Perfect Picture 10 Years Later’ is amazingly written and directed by Shirley Frimpong-Manso, however, the production credits go to powerhouse duo. The highly anticipated sequel is all set to release in December for the audience to have a perfect rom-com filled Christmas.
