The Black Gala is the first of its kind, themed fundraising event created to support & expand the reach of the arts in Ghana/Africa through fashion, art, culture, and history through an Afro-Futuristic lens.
Join us as we reunite with members of the Afro-Diaspora from near and far in celebration of the Year of Return for an experience sure to be one of a kind!
The 2019 Black Gala will be taking place in The Museum of Science and Technology. Guests can expect an interactive experience complete with:

- Private museum tour
- Selection of food from the African diaspora
- Art exhibits by the Ghana National Museum & Monuments Board of Ghana & artists from both sides of the Atlantic

2019 THEME: AFRO-FUTURISM; AFRICA IN A THOUSAND YEARS
Attendees are expected to share their interpretation of Afro-Futurism by dressing in accordance with the theme. Come dressed in your 3019’s Finest.
15% of proceeds from The Black Gala will go towards assisting the Museum and Monuments Board in the expansion of existing programs such as their STEM programs for young girls and maintaining historical sites.
