About Wassa Domama Rock Shrine
Walk into the past and have a feel of the mystic African rituals and works of a long ago civilization. “Bosom Kese” or “great god” is a huge rock stacked on top of three rocks and forming a shelter of nearly three (3) storeys high. It is an ideal place for meetings and covenants. A visit to the shrine involves a hike through tropical jungle, traditional hamlets and indigenous farms. Other attractions include a two-and-a-half-hour canoe ride through the rapids and calm waters of the Pra River. Relax and enjoy nature by watching game, birds, butterfly and fishing.
Facilities include a seven-bedroom guesthouse with a kitchen for those who want to spend the night and enjoy an evening of rich folklore by the fireside.
