About Butuase Waterfall
BUTUASE waterfall is a 60 ft. waterfall on the outskirts of Kwahu Tafo, on the Kotoso road in the Eastern Region. In the rainy season it tumbles down into a series of splashing pools where people love to come and play, relaxing on a quiet afternoon or loudly celebrating a national holiday with jams music and picnics. The stream falls away under a uniquely amazing natural cavern.
There is also a beautiful flow of the waterfall drains that also form another small stream through the roots of giant trees at the site. During events, many who have gathered for entertainment get to enjoy a wash-down by the heavy waterfall.
The natural scenery at this tour site is breathtaking and you can also relax at a cut through space in the rock to relax and enjoy some refreshment alone or with friends. This place is a must visit.
