Under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), the Ghana Tourism  Authority (GTA), in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) and Aliska Business Advisory and Research has launched the NSS – GTA Support Programme at the Accra Tourist Information Centre (ATIC), today, on Monday, 20^thDecember, 2021.

The NSS – GTA support Programme is an innovative programme that seeks to support the tourism enterprises which have been negatively affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Chief Executive of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Mr. Akwasi Agyeman stated that the programme leverages on technology, gender diversity, inclusivity and astute training models to equip tourism enterprises to achieve customer intimacy, operational excellence, marketing excellence and profitability.

On his part, the Chief Executive of the National Service Scheme also noted that the optimal strategy also seeks to create sustainable employment opportunities for the youth during and after the completion of their National Service which is in line with  H.E President Nana Akufo-Addo’s vision of creating sustainable jobs for the youth.
