The Winneba Masquerade Festival is a historical festival which is celebrated once every year by the people of Winneba. The festival is celebrated to mark the beginning of a new year. It is celebrated every 1st of January. It is a festival that involves 5 groups of innovative Masqueraders who battle for Supremacy. There is a massive display of beautifully crafted masks to suit their costumes. The Winneba Masquerade Festival hosts about 9,000 people each year which includes; indigenes of Winneba inland and abroad, and visitors from all over the world. This year is expected to be mind-blowing as Masqueraders are rehearsing day and night to bring out their best. See you there!
