The Winneba Yaabo Yaabo Street Carnival is a highly enthusiastic Street event organized during the Christmas Festive season. The event takes place on 26th December, annually. The event is intended to create awareness of the grand Masquerade Festival which is held on the first day of every new year (1st January). Yaabo Yaabo Street Carnival hosts about 7,000 people which includes; indigenes of Winneba from all over Ghana and the diaspora, and visitors who come into the country during the Christmas season. Come and experience the rich display of colourful masquerading costumes made by the people of Winneba.
